A new beginning

The show last night was doooooooooooooooope. Not perfect for us, but still damn good. In a few weeks we'll be rolling. I'm so excited.

To top everything off, Thomas from Forgive Durden walked up to Brian and said that our stuff reminded him of The Get Up Kids. More specifically, Four Minute Mile-era Get Up Kids. OMGGGGGGGGGGGG. Then I talked to him later and he told me it again and that that's one of his favorite records of all time. Then he said hopefully we could play together again so he could hear the whole set instead of just two songs. :)

Oh yeah, I also was talking to him about the new album and how he got his guests. He said he knew all of them from touring and stuff except for Chris Conley. Apparently Thomas knew the drummer of Saves the Day and apparently that dude showed Chris the demos that Thomas was working on. So apparently one day Thomas got a call and it was like:
"Hello. Is this Thomas?"
"Yes...Who is this?"
"Hi. My name is Chris Conley, I play in a band called Saves the Day..."

Dude. I couldn't even imagine that happening.
